Water Conservation: Xeriscaping* Rebate Programs

The largest challenge facing all arid environments is water conservation. Several Arizona cities and towns have taken action to encourage a permanent water reduction inside and outside of the home by providing rebate programs. By providing funds for Xeriscaping, the cities and towns are doing their part to help sustain our water supply.

Now you can take advantage of these programs to not only do your part to help our environment, but you can save money as well. Please visit the websites listed below and see what your local government is doing for you.

*Xeriscaping is an approach to landscaping that has proved to be compatible with the arid desert climate. When designed properly, landscapes are water efficient, yet creative and colorful. The information and links to city rebate programs provided on this page are not guaranteed; please consult with your city’s authority for final and definitive advice.

Rock ‘N Rollin’ Landscape Materials Supports Our Community

Fourteen homes and yards were selected for renovation by youth and church groups on Make a Difference Day in Peoria, AZ, and Rock ‘N Rollin Landscape Materials participated along with other local businesses by donating the materials needed to renovate the yards and repaint the homes. This was a community effort that you can really call a labor of love. Read what the Peoria Times had to say here.

We believe in community, and are pleased to help in charitable projects such as helping revamp the home of a local Vietnam veteran; we donated 18 tons of decorative rock for his front yard.

Other charitable projects we’ve been recently working on include a donation of 13 tons of gravel to the Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center for a Boy Scout member’s project geared to earn his Eagle Scout badge. The gravel was used in the aviary.
